The Tennessee Highway Patrol is accepting applications for its youth and junior trooper academies in Nashville this summer.
Youth and junior cadets will participate in recreational activities including team building exercises, physical fitness and training.
The Junior Trooper School is for 6th through 8th graders, June 22-26.
The Youth Academy is an overnight camp for high school students, July 6-10.
Applications are available on the Department of Safety's website.
The deadline to apply is May 1st.
