DALTON, WHITFIELD COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -- Dalton City Leaders are working on bringing in new development.
The project is a 16-million dollar project at the old Propex site.
City leaders can't disclose the vendor, but say an upscale department store wants to move in.
A restaurant does too, and combined it could create up to 500 jobs over the next five years.
The Joint Development Authority today approved four million in tax-free bonds.
