Since joining the Local 3 News team in 2003, Greg Glover has reported and anchored news and sports and even served a stint in the Storm Alert Center as weatherman. You can find him weekdays on Local News at 5:30 & 11. he brings you Crime Stoppers Wednesdays on Local 3 News at 6 and, during football season, runs the Band of the Week segment of Friday Night Football.
A native of Middle Tennessee, Greg spent his formative years in central Virginia where he talked his way into a radio job to get his start in Media. In the meantime, he has covered stories from the Tennessee Valley to Wolfsburg, Germany. He even walked the entire route of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York with the marching band from Ooltewah High School. Greg has had the good fortune to go one-on-one with Pavarotti, pro athletes, and the President of the United States. Topping those opportunities, though, was a sit-down with the late, great Betty White.
In his spare time, Greg is an award winning actor and a vocalist with Chattanooga's Big Band: Sweet Georgia Sound. As former Drum Major at the University of Tennessee, he is proud to serve as the announcer for the Pride of the Southland Marching Band and is the voice of the Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Gatlinburg.
